What couples trust us with

Read the reviews below and the same things come up: the team was professional and organized, they put the family at ease, and the photos looked like the couple had pictured. One bride asked for a Bollywood wedding, and says we made it real.

We have covered more than 1,800 weddings since 2013. Some families have come back for a second wedding, and in some we have now photographed three generations.

Your wedding, told as your story

  • Your culture, understood. Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Christian weddings, from the mehndi and nikkah to the anand karaj, baraat and reception, including multi-day weddings. We know what the important moments are before they happen.
  • Candid and timeless. We can do what is trendy. What we aim to keep are the real moments, shot in a way that still looks right in many years.
  • No presets. We don't use a standard editing system. Every photo is edited on its own, so each one looks like your day and not a template. It takes longer, and we think it's worth it.
  • Your priorities first. Before the day we ask who the important people are and what you have pictured, so the story we tell is yours.

Every part of the wedding

Seven stages of a wedding, each from a different couple. Tap a stage to swipe through its photos.

The night before

Days before anything official happens. The house fills up, someone digs the dhol out of a cupboard, and nobody goes home.

Dholki · Sangeet · Jaggo · Mayoun

Henna and haldi

Henna, turmeric, or both, depending on the family. Whatever yours calls it, it is the loudest and most crowded room of the week.

Mehndi · Haldi · Gaye holud · Vatna

The ceremony

Usually the quietest hour of the whole week, and the only part of it that is actually binding.

Nikkah · Anand Karaj · Pheras · Bibaho

The arrival

Both families walking in. You hear it a long time before you see it, and there is always somebody’s grandmother waving at the back.

Baraat · Milni · Entrances

The reception

The formal one. The photographed one. The one the aunts have opinions about.

Walima · Reception · Bou bhat

The farewell

Twenty minutes, and the hardest part of the whole week to shoot properly.

Rukhsati · Vidaai · Doli

Portraits

An hour away from everyone, sometimes months before, sometimes between the ceremony and the reception. Two people, whatever light there is, and nobody watching.

Engagement · Nikkah and reception portraits

What couples ask before they book

Can we trust you with our wedding day?

We have covered more than 1,800 weddings since 2013. Some families have come back for a second wedding, and in some we have photographed three generations. Every review further down is linked to the original on Google, so you can read what couples wrote in their own words.

Have you shot weddings like ours?

Very likely. We shoot South Asian and multi-day weddings, from the mehndi and nikkah to the baraat, anand karaj, ceremony and reception, and we have photographed Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Christian weddings. We can cover each event.

Will we feel comfortable around you?

Couples tell us they did. In their reviews they say we made them feel at ease and like family. We start with a meeting to get to know you before the day, so you are not meeting us for the first time on your wedding morning. And we aim for real, candid moments, not a day of stiff posing.

Will you know who matters in our family and what moments we can't miss?

That's what the meeting is for. We ask about your wedding, the coverage you need and the photos you are after, and before the day we ask who the important people are, the ones we must not miss.

Will it feel like our wedding, or like a template?

We don't use presets or a standard editing system. Every photo is edited on its own, so it looks like your day. We can do what's trendy, but what we aim to keep are the real moments, shot in a way that will still look right in many years.

Who exactly will be there on the day?

One photographer and one videographer, with lighting and support, for the ten hours. If your event is busy, with many things happening at once, extra photographers are available as an add-on.

How long until we get our photos and film?

Because every photo is edited individually, delivery can take up to three months. If you need it sooner, rushed delivery is available as an add-on.

What does Golden Hour cost, and is there anything extra?

$5,500 CAD for ten hours, with every photo individually edited, a private online gallery, and your wedding film by private download link. Extra hours are $550 each, and add-ons such as extra photographers, drone footage with an additional videographer, and rushed delivery are priced separately. Planning a longer weekend? Ask us about our larger packages.

How do we book, and what if plans change?

Start with the form below. After we meet, we send a contract in writing. Booking takes an initial deposit, and the rest is paid later, as set out in the contract. Because we reserve your date for you alone, a cancellation by the client is not refundable. Please read our Refunds and Cancellation page for the full details.
